I am a board certified Family Physician. I had graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit in 1986. I had completed residency from Providence Hospital in Southfield, Mich. in 1989. While a resident I received a teaching award from my colleagues. I was in private practice for approx 4yrs in Novi ,Mich. During those years I had received the Optimist of the year Award while I was a member of the Novi Optimist. After that I have been faculty of a Family practice residency for approx 5yrs, 2 of which I had received the teacher of the year award. During that time I also had the distinction of being one of the only physicians in Blue Care Network to receive 100% patient satisfaction. I then was employed by St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Livonia Michigan for 1 yr. I am now self employed in my own office called Personal Care Physician, P.L.L.C.. I have again received 100% patient satisfaction on Blue Care Network survey for the next 3 years that I still accepted Blue Care Network, and I am proud to say my staff also received 100% patient satisfaction for the last two. I still teach medical students from both U of M and Wayne State University. Although I am no longer faculty I have continued to receive Schwartzberg Teaching Awards from the residents at Providence Hospital. Some of my most recent and very exciting awards wereThe 2010 Patients' Choice Physician Award ( from www.vitals.com ) and The 2009 Peoples Choice Award for Best Physician from the Novi News .
