If I run late,,,,

Please realize I like running on time. I try very hard and most of the time I succeed at being reasonably on time. One of the aspects of my office which is different then most is that I like to stick with the following 2 main priorities.

1. Acutely sick people need to be seen !!! I find it ridiculous when other offices tell patients you have to suffer with your ear infection until next week when we can get you in. I make it a point to get you in within the next day we open.

2. People should always leave satisfied, feeling their needs were met and they understand their care and their options. Minimally even if you have a ton of concerns that we at least make a reasonable plan to meet those concerns on a reasonable schedule.

The cost of doing this is that it is sometimes hard to predict how much time to schedule for each visit, or predict when people will get sick and need to more urgently be seen.

Hopefully you will be in the majority and have a normal wait time, but if it is excessive please accept my apologies, and remember the times you were or will be fit in or spend the additional time you needed.

Thank you very much,

David Schindler M.D.
