My Mission is to take care of people in a manner in which I would want to be taken care of myself, to fulfill their healthcare needs to the best of my ability and my resources in partnership with them giving them enough information to be a participant in their own healthcare. Charting and Scheduling are done through the computer. You will see me entering in the information on the computer in the rooms. It enables instant access from any exam room to charts, they will never be lost. It will help us take care of some questions when you call as opposed to always taking a message. Prescriptions are typed and readable . Automatic growth charts and more advance graphing of labs, weights, bps, etc.

Every effort will be made to get people in at the appropriate and convenient time as well as for the appropriate length of time. Because of the demand to be seen or if another patient requires more time than what was predicted there may be a wait, although we usually do a pretty good job of predicting. Remember that one day it may be you that needs to be squeezed in or that needs more time. We appreciate your patience. For more information click on "If I run late" above. If you cannot get to your appointment please notify us to reschedule or to cancel. This is extremely important to allow other patients in at that time.
When you call our office after hours at - (248) 912-1919 you will get the voicemail instructing you what to do next. Please listen carefully. If it is something that can wait until the next time we are in the office please leave a message. If not listen for instructions of what to do next. When leaving a message make sure you tell us your name, phone number including your area code, then a message. If you need an appointment our receptionist will call you back first thing in the morning of the next day we are open. If it is a question Dr. Schindler or our Medical Assistant after discussing with Dr. Schindler will call you back and answer the question. If it can not wait for the next
morning such as an emergency you can reach Dr. Schindler directly to
his cell phone. To do this call the main number (248)-912-1919 you
will then get instructions on the voice mail on how to contact him.
This is the best way to reach him in an emergency.
When Dr. Schindler is out of town, he is unavailable. The message on our phone will instruct you on how to proceed. For emergencies go to Providence Hospital.
Please come
prepared with cash, check or credit card to pay for your portion of
the bill at the time of the office visit. This includes co-pays,
deductibles, etc. We do accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover card.
You should be contacted by our
office generally within a week of getting labs, although some take 2
wks. You will get the results whether they are normal or abnormal.
Another way is to let us
know you want the labs by email and make sure we have you email
