Natural Products Available at the Office

Because I am not really in the business of selling nutritionals I do not mark it up like you would find at a retail store.  I just provide it mostly as a service to you.  There are two companies I deal with  Biotics products from Viotron or products from Metagenics .

Listed below are the ones that I currently have, however if there is one of their products you want me to get , let me know.

Biotics products-

Glucobalance-  I take this myself for it seems to help me control my sugars.  It has a ton of vitamins and has a lot of chromium which is supposed to help with carbohydrate metabolism and some people think it helps with weight loss.

 Chondrosamine Plus- This is a combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate which are products from shark cartilage which is supposed to help increase joint fluid.  About 80% of the people will respond and 20% will not, so if it doesn’t work in 1mo then don’t waste your money on another one.  I tried the no brand one which was cheaper but I found that it didn’t help as much as this one did.  There are other vitamins etc in there as well.

Metagenics products-

Kaprex AI – an antinflammatory herbal product, supposedly works at a level upstream in the pathway of inflammation so it is not supposed to have the same side effects.

Insinase- is from plant sterols that help reduce insulin resistance and the metabolic syndrome.

Vitamin D3-  for protection for your bones and some evidence that it also helps prevent some cancers.

Probiotic capsules - normal bacteria for your gut. Antibiotics and some inflammatory process such as irritable bowel or inflammatory bowel disease can change the normal bacteria found in your gut and restoring them can help to get normal bowel movements.  

Misc. Product-

 Iodoral-  A combination of iodine and iodide .  Here in the Midwest we do not have a lot of iodine in our food.  The thyroid is the major user of iodine and needs it to function properly, other tissues are breast and reproductive organs.

Meyers Cocktail-  This is a high level vitamins that are injected directly into the vein by my staff through an IV. Benefits are that it gives you a boost in energy, improves the immune system, helps most of your systems work better.  A good time to consider one is prior to a trip or something you cant afford to be sick for.
