The Story of DrBatman

 

 

Once upon a time,,,,,,,,  (just kidding).  People always ask my,,, why DrBatman.  Well it started with the internet or actually with online.  We were with Prodigy before there was really much internet.  Prodigy just started making chat rooms.  Chatting online was new and interesting to be able to chat live with some stranger  far away.  I had to come up with a username.  The batman movie was just being released.  I never was really a big fan of batman when I was a kid ,,, mostly because he did not have any super powers like superman or the green lantern.    But, as an adult gained an appreciation for the batman as he was able to do great things without any super powers, by just using technology and old fashioned common sense to fight for justice.  Well, at the time I was faculty at the hospitals residency program and it seemed particularly at the time I had to decide on a username that I had been fighting for the justice for my patients and for the residents ,, using my common sense and technology available.  So, I thus became DrBatman.  I have to admit, that there were plenty of pow and kablams to get in the way of that fight, some I won, some I just had to figure a way out of the jams like the old batman from the original tv series.  Many a Halloween you will see the DrBatman out in costume.  This batman movie came out on my birthday …
